Secrets of the Master CD - Audio Mastering
The mastering process is complex to explain, but basically what it does is:
- Equalization, to clarify, to correct the consistency or monitoring.
- Increased volume for leaving the material at competitive levels and to maximize the capacity of a CD.
- Issues, if required.
- Clean both the inputs of each song, and the output, with their respective Fade In and Fade Out.
- Noise reduction if the material requires it.
- Assembling the album, the songs available.
- Printed guidelines for data duplication, PQ, ISRC, etc..
- Three CD Master Audio.
02 Requirements
The audio to be mastered, must come under the following conditions:
- CD Rom or DVD Rom.
- The files must go in the same sample rate that was mixed. May be this 44.1 / 48/96/192 Khz. Just as your Bit Depth. 16/24.
- Archives. L and. R apart.
- The final names of the songs.
- The final order of the songs. Once mixed the material, do not do any conversion, as there are processes that impair the final quality.
